Effective data backup is very much essential and important for today's IT operations.But , it has faced problems historically.Traditional paper based documentation is rapidly becoming obsolete as the core of operations revolves around IT Systems and now in the digital era also the problem of data loss is profound with direct and indirect consequences , including reputational damage and financial losses.And this review dives and explore the challenges and shortcomings of existing backup systems and emphasises the need for cutting edge approaches to data protection in the IT age.The backup system were introduced by the companies and organizations to meet urgent needs and the backup process is often updated without optimisation and the implementation of the initial mesures ignored.So it is very important to establissh a good data protection system.In order to face and get rid of the historical challenges of developing backup systems and the need to consolidate backup data to preserve broader information many different technologies  and methods were used.Those technologies and , their role and the importance of SLAs in ensuring data security and rapid recovery will be reviewed and discussed by this.

As data becomes increasingly critical to business operations , customers demand more comprehensive data protection solutions and they expect that data can be recovered quickly and they are unwilling to accept the gradual downtimes and data loss.The traditional periodic test recoveries and classic backup tools which are essential are costly, time consuming and impractical and the traditional backup systems fall short of providing the necessary protection.So it can disrupt day to day operations and also result in severe financial losses.In today's rapidly evolving digital environment , information which is the lifeblood of organizations are protected through efficient and effective recovery to ensure business continuity.But as the IT environment evolves with the growth of data volumes ,the traditional backup systems struggles to meet modern business needs.So to solve this problems they offer an efective methods and procedures for data backup and recovery in dynamic IT environment.The methodologies used as solutions are seperation of speed and capacity  to overcome the limitations  by creating modern data storage , usage and management systems(RMS)The use of snapshots which provide near-instant bakcup and recovery with minimal disruption to physical operations but capturing a portion of data  and including in the backup strategy to ensure clear contol of the data backup and recovery process.

Next Data recovery selection which ensures effective and objective data recovery and follows the principle that organizations returns only what needed at a particular time by saving time and resources.And here benefits and improvements such as Reducing Data Gap , Reducing errors by maintaining a simple computer backup which can be used for quick testing and transparency and implementation are obtained.And the methodologies such as Data Encryption ,Database Monitoring Method(DMM), Data Recovery Reporting and Recovery (DDBRM),Data Backup Management, Offsite Duplication Management and Management of published data are used to ensure data availability and security against threats and destructions.
